Copy Cat Ltd. launches the first Pasha Centre.

The Copy Cat Ltd. in collaboration with the KICTTB, Telcom,CISCO launched the first Pasha Centre in Kangundo Town.

Kenya ICT Board is carrying out a Kenya transparency communication infrastructure project (KTCIP) which aims to generate growth and employment by leveraging ICT and public partnerships to create an IT enabled services, industry and contribute to improved efficiency and transparency of selected govt functions through e-government applications. This KTCIP project will support the government through the Ministry of Information and Communication over 3 years to roll out Pasha Centers which aims at providing internet access and e-services at the grassroots.

What does a Pasha Centre do?

Provide a suite of services to the public via computes connected to the internet. They are run and operated by private entrepreneurs who shall go through a training program funded by the Kenya ICT Board.

Services offered at Pasha centers:
  • Training
  • Technical support
  • Bandwidth capacity support
  • Pasha e-centre revolving fund
